This product is almost identical to the 160 RLi. It excludes the immobilisation features offered, and is the ideal "Add On" security system to a vehicle that has an insurance approved immobiliser fitted original equipment at factory.

Features are the same as the 160 RLi except the 161 RL has full central locking control facilities on board. No additional modules are required when retro fitting central locking, offering ease of installation as well as the advantage of a cost saving. Master motors can also be fitted to the driver’s door offering full central locking control when manually locking the car as well as when using your remote.

The Autowatch 161RL alarm system incorporates several sensing systems to protect your vehicle. Each time the alarm system is turned on, these sensing systems start to monitor the vehicle and if unauthorised interference is detected, the alarm system will be triggered. The 161RL alarm system is supplied with a self-powered siren.
