Before
ordering a replacement touchkey/remote please check that you are able
to enter programming mode by following the instructions below
If
you are unsure of which Selca device you have fitted to your car check
the following:
Look under
the bonnet of the vehicle and locate the siren, if you cannot find it
and only have touchkeys but no remote controls the chances are the IM3.22
is fitted. If there is a siren and is marked FC6.00 or FC6.01 go to
FC range programming. If the siren is marked FC6.5 the FM7 is fitted.
To program
a new fob into the FC6 & FC6.01 a working fob is required without
which the process will not be possible.
To program
a new fob into the FM7 & FC6.71 a working touchkey is required without
which the process will not be possible.
To program
a new fob into the Splitt range a 4 digit pin number is required without
which the process will not be possible. If you do not have this code
number please contact the office.

IMPORTANT
- IM3.22 Immobiliser Notice
Before ordering a replacement Selca Touch Key please
make sure you have the master RED key which without it will not be possible
to do. Plus please check your IM3.22 immobiliser can go into program mode
by following the instructions below. Many of these immobilisers have not
been fitted correctly and as such will never be able to program new keys
in even though they seem to function correctly as an immobiliser.
To
check whether the Immobiliser has been correctly fitted to your vehicle
please follow the instructions below.
- Sit
inside the vehicle and close all the doors.
- Disarm
the immobiliser with any working touchkey; the immobiliser LED will
flash quickly.
- Turn
on the ignition (do not start the car) wait 10 seconds, switch off
ignition.
- Open
the drivers door making sure the vehicle's interior light illuminates,
after approx. 5 seconds close the door.
- The
immobiliser LED should flash quickly for the next (approximately)
30-50 seconds after this period the LED will flash slowly indicating
a fully immobilised state. If this occurs the immobiliser will be
able to enter programming mode and new touchkeys can be programmed
into the system (working RED key required). If the immobiliser is
still flashing quickly (for the next 3 minutes or so), programming
mode cannot be entered and new touchkeys cannot be programmed into
the system. Contact the office on 0208 677 1999 for further help.
