Suzuki first introduced the TS250 in 1969 as a dual purpose machine. The two stoke 246cc engine produces around 23 BHP through a five speed gearbox. Other features included high rise front and rear suspension upswept exhaust and originally a 21 inch front wheel to enable stability in rough terrain combined with almost 10 inches of ground clearance. It was called the Savage in the USA and the Hustler in Japan but just plain TS250 in the UK.

When's the last time you saw one of these in this original unrestored condition, the late 1970s I'd guess. This is one of the last TS250M models that were sold off by Suzuki UK in 1977, I believe there were a surplus lot from the States or Europe which were brought over to Blighty and sold off cheaply, around 4 or 5 hundred pounds if memory serves me correctly. The bike is so original it even has the supplying dealers sticker on the tank ( Comerfords ) and comes with original Suzuki twin mirrors which had the Suzuki S embosed in the back (not shown) and as a lot of things of the period are very rare to find nowdays. It has had three previous owners and as such has only done 3000 miles from new, yes 3K. The chrome has slightly dulled over the years due I expect to polishing by the various owners, the paint is good but there is a very slight dent in the left side of the tank. The engine alloy has also dulled over the years but this will be polished in the next few months. I think this bike is 100% standard (correct me if I'm wrong ) which is very very rare.
