1970 Kawasaki W2SS - For Sale £10,000
This is a very rare 1970 Kawasaki W2SS based on the BSA A7/A10. In the early sixties before Kawasaki became the giant it is now, Kawasaki acquired Horex (a small Japanese motorcycle manufacturer) who earlier had bought the rights from BSA to manufacture the BAS A7 in Japan. Kawasaki W1 650cc twin carb model one of only 1996 made. Has only done 200 miles since full nut & bolt restoration using 100% Kawasaki parts. This bike is in superb condition, possibly one of the best around. Starts, Runs & rides as it should. Won best Kawasaki at the Box Hill VJMC meet in 2019 (Trophy included). Has done less than 200 miles since restoration. Based on the BSA A7, Kawasaki metrified & improved the engine with extra bearings etc, this is the bike BSA should have made. This bike was originally sold for over £17K in 2014 by Motorcycles Unlimited, these are also very sort after in Japan where they have an enthusiastic following, bikes like these can go for £15k+, grab yourself a bargain.
