Yamaha RD400 Daytona Special

Last of the RD400, a 1979 Daytona Special, one of only 2000 manufactured (For the USA, Canadain & Australian markets). This one is from the US as such has had all the emission components removed, in my opinion the best of the RD400 range with great looks & stunning performance, don't get me wrong I love the coffin tank versions too, always regretted selling a Yellow Kenny Roberts RD a few years ago. I just think this version has a bit of sophistication about it plus there's no 250 version to get it confused with. This bike has has matching numbers & less than 4000 miles on the clock from new, Looks, sounds & goes like the clappers, 99.9% original including the very rare exhausts.  A fantastic bike which is not for sale though if someone were to make me a serious offer £12K+ I may be tempted, don't really want to let it go but I need to clear some of my collection. See other sale listings for contact details, please no lesser offers I don't need the money just the space.
